Cubs Sailing Day

F/M Cubs had an afternoon of Sailing with the Scouts Water Activities Base at North Harbour Manly. The weather was perfect and it was a great introduction to sailing.

Christmas Trees selling.

Every year the Scouts and Venturers are selling fresh Christmas trees at Hinkler Park. Sunday is the sales day for the Venturers (Saturday is the Scouts). This is our major fund raising for the year. It finances the Venturers activities and major events throughout the year.

This is 25% of the way there at 8:30am.

A dedicated team has been here since 5:30.

Scouts Canoe the Central Coast

Seven scouts achieved their anchor badge over two weekends with a final overnight camping trip in and around Brisbane Waters, near Way Way.  Well done to everyone!

Bantry Bay night hike

Fifteen hardy scouts braved the cold and stormy night on the walk out around Bantry Bay. We saw waterfalls that are usually dry and a very high tide with the new moon.  A good test for our waterproof clothing too.

Goochs Crater

The camp cave near Goochs crater made for a cool campsite and base to explore all the surrounding pagodas.  The Wollondilly River was a refreshing stop on the way too.
