Eleven hardy scouts set out in chilly, wet, cold weather from the Explorers Tree near Katoomba to hike the 45km to Jenolan Caves over three days. The weather cleared after lunch and we had perfect sunny, clear skies. The swing bridge over the Cox’s River was a real highlight.

The Fairlight Fairies patrol of seven scouts had a fantastic weekend camping and hiking between the Superhero activity bases at ScoutHike with about 1000 other scouts from around NSW.
Sirius Cup with Cubs, Scouts and Venturers
Our biggest camp in many years with 24 cubs, venturers and scouts who had a great time camping out at Balmoral over the weekend. Everyone also competed in at least one canoe race, with quite a few doing more as well as the run/swim ironman at 0700 this morning.
